Chibi Kawaii stamps

Here's a wonderful image from Sherri Baldy of MyBesties.  This adorable image and so many other awesome stamps you can find in her MyBesties store, if you like this style, check the section labeled "Chibi Kawaii" , this one is called scan 0018.

I dressed her up in a mustard yellow/pink polka dot combo.  I think it is just perfect together.  I hope you like her.  Check out the other Chibi Kawaii Besties they are just super cute.

Whoooo hooooo!! It's summer time here in Alaska! My last day of school was the 19th. I am excited for the break.

I dug through my Mom's colored images again and found Fluffy Sunshine Girl. She is perfect for my summer time mood.

My Mom colored her with Copic markers.

I decided I would practice my bubble letters for the title. I still need lots of practice!

I embossed my card by using a background stamp of paint splatters. I love the look of embossing powder.

Thank you for popping in to see my card. I hope you are enjoying the sun wherever you are.

Thinking of You

More often than not, I design all of my projects using my Silhouette software, then cut it out with my Cameo. I have a great visual of what my project will look like in the end.  This card was not different, except I ran into problems with the machine.  It could be the new update, or it could be my machine was just rebelling against me and wanted the night off.  So I took a different approach with this adorable little troll.

I colored this image with Photoshop.  I was looking for something very specific and knew that my coloring talents were not there yet.  So digital coloring it was for this pretty little lady.  Not quite the look I was going for with her hair, but I love how her dress turned out

Image 0059

Now, because my machine was giving me grief, and wouldn't cut the papers and designs, I decided to go digital with my card.  Rather than creating a card with the image, I created a digital postcard.  Now, I can send a "Thinking Of You" message to a friend the day I know they need it most.

I still did all of my designing with my software, but rather than do a print and cut, I did a print to PDF.  After than, I did a little magic in Photoshop and I have a fun, bright and colorful digital postcard I can send anytime I feel the need.

A Happy Garden

Good Morning Everyone!!!

I am back again with another fabulous image from the collection.  Sherri has so many wonderful designs that it is impossible to decide which one to create with each time I make a card.  This little doll is so  cute, and was so much fun to color.  I thought it very fitting for this time of year as many of us are getting our gardens planted and ready to go.

Image #0118

This little cutie I colored with Photoshop, with lots of spring colors.   How fun is that big sun hat with a big bow and lots of flowers?   As you know, I do not add a sentiment to my cards until I need them. This way, any card I make can be used for any occasion.  With Sherri's images, they are perfect for card and any occasion.

Here is what I have done with this fabulous image.

Thanks for stopping in today.
